Tyler asked to start lifting at an early age. His first "bar" was a broom handle

Tyler advanced to regionals with the Texas High School Powerlifting Association his freshman year in the 180lb weight class with a total weight of 920 pounds. He improved his sophomore year with a total weight of 1,210 pounds in the 220lb weight class, also advancing to the Texas Regionals. His junior year weight total weight was 1,335 in the 242lb weight class.

Tyler participates in high school track and field. His field events are discus and shot put, and he runs the 100M and 4x100M relay. Tyler placed 2nd in District in Discuss his sophomore year, earning him a trip to the area meet, placing 4th. This earned him a spot on the team advancing to the Regional Meet in Kingsland TX.

If you can't find Tyler at the gym, then he's most likely at a field throwing the football and running routes with friends, or they may be out bass fishing at nearest lake or stock tank.

Tyler's "ice" personality helps him focus on the current play, next play, and helps him quickly forget the past and move forward.

Nicknames have been "Moose", "Tyler B", "Bonk", and "Swole Body".

Most importantly, Tyler is a Christian athlete with faith that keeps him grounded, strong and courageous.
